It’s providing a platform for our employees to grow, to have different perspectives and to engage in the community”.

Barry Sheehan, Property Manager at Hunt Valley Town Center and The Shops at Kenilworth and LBC Class of 2021 graduate, explained that the LBC experience helped him build confidence as a leader through the feedback of the 360° evaluation and gain diverse perspectives by meeting leaders from different industries. Barry said, “I was blown away by the wealth and breadth of the information that was presented over those couple of months. We got to meet the decision-makers that had an impact on important issues on a day-to-day basis.”

Access to key leaders through LBC has helped Greenberg Gibbons support more than 50 nonprofits company-wide and to network with leaders for both business and community opportunities such as a chalk walk with the Lea Marie Faraone Foundation to support young people battling cystic fibrosis. Michelle Schiffer shared, “LBC has an impressive history of working with Baltimore- based businesses and their leaders. It’s a great opportunity to develop meaningful relationships within our business community.”

Alicyn Ames, Director of Marketing and Communications at Greenberg Gibbons and incoming participant in the LBC Class of 2022, says she looks forward to the opportunity. “Through learning about more organizations, initiatives and causes, we will be able to leverage our different projects throughout the community to be able to support those missions.” Alicyn also shared that Greenberg Gibbons is at a pivotal point, poised for growth and expansion. Participating in LBC helps ensure, “that we are attracting exciting talent from the area…The more well-rounded we are as a company, the more desirable our company will be to others who are looking at the industry as a possible career path.”

LBC and Greenberg Gibbons look forward to building upon their partnership to bring together diverse perspectives, powerful connections and a stronger community.
