A limited amount of partial scholarships are available to participants of the Leadership Baltimore County program, with preference to those who are self-paying, employees of nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and faith communities. The amount awarded is based on particular circumstances of the participant, as well as the number of requests received each year.

Traditionally, awards have not exceeded $2,000. One of the leadership principles we teach is to think about the greater good (Systems Awareness in the 360° evaluation tool provided to each participant). Related to this idea, we ask applicants to request what they need and not more so that we can provide the opportunity to participate in LBC to as many people as possible.

Requesting a scholarship does not influence the selection process and is totally confidential. A financial disclosure may be requested and each request will be reviewed independently of the selection process.
