Vickie Cosby

Vickie Cosby is the Vice President of Consumer Direct Sales and Communications for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, the largest health care insurer in the Mid-Atlantic region. She began her career with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in 1994. Vickie has over 20 years’ experience in the healthcare industry, including skills in medical underwriting, sales training, marketing of commercial and government programs and consumer direct sales. Vickie is a Baltimore County resident, an avid history buff and a graduate of Towson University. Her desire to support individuals with different learning styles has driven her to become a voice for individuals with special needs. Vickie is a Lifetime Member of LBC and a graduate of the Class of 2016.






Maria Johnson Darby

Born and raised in Govans, Maria is a graduate of St. Mary’s, Notre Dame Prep and Dickinson College. She is an avid reader, a beach and mountain lover and a budding author. Committed to the issues of leadership development, business engagement and the empowerment of women and children, Maria serves on numerous nonprofit boards, including Leadership Baltimore County, Maryland Women’s Heritage Center, Govanstowne Business Association and the Junior League of Baltimore.

Maria is a seasoned nonprofit professional with significant fund development, management, communications, marketing and board governance experience. She is the Vice President of Communications and External Relations at Keswick, managing philanthropic endeavors, marketing efforts and community and business partnerships.

Maria is passionate about finding creative solutions to address the complicated issues facing the community. Believing in the power of partnerships, she enjoys being part of cross-functional teams that develop and implement action plans for initiatives that will have a positive impact. Maria is interested in projects that take her outside of her comfort zone and challenge her imagination. She believes that finding common ground is critical; looking at non-traditional solutions is essential; and, developing leaders as diverse as the issues that face us is simply a must.

In 2017, Maria was inducted into The Daily Record’s Maryland Top 100 Women Circle of Excellence, having been honored previously in 2009 and 2011. In 2012, she was named The Spirited Woman of Baltimore 2012. Maria and her husband, Michael, reside in Baltimore City with their turtle, Kiko.


Sandra Dilworth

Sandy is Vice-President of IT Operations at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. She began as the Director of Client Technology Services in 2000. Sandy holds a Certified Help Desk Director Certification. She is a graduate of Leadership Baltimore County’s Class of 2010.









Jenn Stine
CASA of Baltimore County
Class of 2017


Jenn is the Executive Director of CASA Baltimore County, where she has been since 2009. Before that she lived in Texas and worked as a Child Advocacy Specialist for CASA of Travis County. She holds her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Child Development from Tufts University, and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas. Jenn graduated from LBC’s Class of 2017.
