Savoring Relationships: LBC’s Annual Celebration and 2025 Commencement

After a day of service engaging with fourth graders in STEM projects at Sandalwood Elementary, LBC’25 gathered at Goucher College to connect with LBC alumni and friends as they commenced their alumni journey.

Guests celebrated the deep relationships that are a signature of LBC, met new people, and savored moments together in a summer BBQ theme event while also showing that LBC cares through a personal care item drive benefitting Community Assistance Network and Franciscan Center.

Keynote speaker Chrissy Thornton, LBC ’24, President & CEO of Associated Black Charities, shared her joy and lessons from her own experience in the LBC community leadership program. She offered thoughts to the graduating class on how to continue to maximize the value of the experience. The cohort shared their experience through a video recap of the year and humorous superlative awards.
